The painting I ordered, the first in a series of studies for Manet's The Execution of Maximillian, arrived a month ago and is perfect indeed. In fact, I wasn't sure about ordering an oil reproduction but the quality is incredible and it is so tasteful and well done that I would recommend you all to everyone. You offer such a variety of choices and I was extremely happy to see that you all could do not only the final and famous version of this painting, but this first one, essentially an oil sketch, which remains my favorite and is much less well known. My husband was very excited to receive it for his birthday and it is already stretched and hanging in our dining room and has had many wonderful comments made about it.
